We are looking for an enthusiastic and focused individual to join the team as an administrative assistant.
The primary role of this post is to assist in the day to day administrative duties of managing a busy office whilst being one of the first points of contact for customers. You will be an integral part of the firm, working with the current administrator to manage the office. Main duties will include:
Handling of post – opening post, dealing with returns and refunds;
Answering the telephone – managing customer queries and returns;
Managing postal systems ready for dispatch;
Managing stationery levels – ordering stationery when necessary
General filing and shredding;
Keeping the office tidy and clean;
Any other administrative based tasks as the business progresses and dictates.
Our ideal candidate must have good customer service skills, accuracy, attention to detail and show initiative. Excellent communication skills and confidence both face to face and over the phone is needed as successful candidates will be interacting with customers. Great organisational skills are a must in order to priorities workload and stay calm under pressure. We are looking for someone who can enjoy the challenge of working within a busy environment, producing good quality, accurate, outputs whilst working to deadlines.
£4.00 per hour to be reviewed after 2 months
37 hours per week
