The Level 3 Award is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback. The qualification is suitable for those who work or want to teach in further education, adult and community education, work- based learning and the voluntary sector, provided they are qualified or experienced at the appropriate level in the subject they intend to teach.
This course is a stepping stone for progression on to Level 4 or 5 in Education & Training or Assessment and Quality Assurance.
• A good level of English is necessary to meet the required standard of assignment writing along with good communication and research skills
• Good ICT required as considered necessary for trainers and teachers in modern education
Apprenticeships are funded through GHQ by the Government and your Employer.
GHQ may be able to access some or all of the funding for this qualification depending on each individual eligibility.
24+ Adult Learning Loans are available to everyone completing a Level 3 or higher qualification.
