For the fourth year running the Holiday Inn will hold the event and set the scene for a night to remember on Monday 16th May at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm). The lucky winners on the night will receive fabulous prizes from the event sponsors, Phab.
Last year, guests were knocking down the door to get their hands on the VIP tables. For guaranteed seating for a party of ten and wine, enjoy the atmosphere in luxury for just £120! Tables are limited, so follow GHQ’s social media sites for the ticket launch next week!
GHQ are offering their standard tickets (limited seating) for only £8.50 prior to the event. Don’t panic you can always buy them on the door for £10.00! Tickets can be purchased from GHQ Training or over the phone by calling 01752-218086.
This year’s event is themed ‘Night at the Movies’ and the individual themes for the competition are as follows:

• 1st Years – Block Busters
• 2nd Years – Sci-Fi
• 3rd Years – Oscars

For the very first year our Beauty and Nail Services learners will be competing in their own competition throughout the day and the winners will be announced at the event!

This year’s proceeds will be donated to both St Lukes Hospice and Lymphoma Association. Collection buckets will be distrbuted throughout the evening and a raffle will be held to raise as much money as possible…so dig deep!!

Founded in 1982 St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth has been providing specialist end of life care to the local community for over 30 years. Having grown from a seven bed unit at Syrena House in Plymstock to the purpose built 12 bed Inpatient Unit in Turnchapel, along with the specialist community service and hospital team, St Luke’s has always had a strong presence in the local community. Since opening their doors they have been committed to offering dignity and choice to their patients and their passion for this has never dwindled.

Lymphoma is the 5th most common cancer diagnosed in the UK and the most common blood cancer. Unless you know someone unfortunate enough to have been diagnosed with it, it’s relatively unheard of. The Lymphoma Association is a fantastic support network for anyone travelling their journey alone. Please get behind this well deserving charity – it may well just save someone from their moment of despair!
