If it wasn’t for Isabella’s determination, a helping hand from the staff at GHQ Training and the good faith of a new employer, Isabella may not have completed the Retail qualification. But there was a light at the end of the tunnel when Lawsons, a well established and reputable home living retailer, gave Isabella the opportunity to continue her apprenticeship with their company. Over the last year, Isabella has excelled in her job role at Lawsons and subsequently completed her Level 2 Retail Apprenticeship. The employer couldn’t be happier with her professional development and are now discussing her progression. GHQ Training cherishes accomplishments such as this and we are so proud of Isabella!

‘At one point last year, it seemed as though I was not going to be able to finish my Retail apprenticeship. I started to become quite concerned but my ambition to complete the apprenticeship only grew. With the help of GHQ Training to find the right employer, Lawsons graciously took me under their wing as an apprentice. Since then, I have not only developed my knowledge and skills within the industry but developed as a person. I enjoy working with Lawsons and I feel extremely proud of what I have accomplished and of the career path I am making for myself. Alongside my NVQ Diploma, I have also dedicated my time and effort into passing my Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English qualifications. I feel all of my achievements would not have been possible without the support and guidance that I received from the staff at GHQ Training. Therefore, I would like to thank everyone involved in my journey.’
