Cream is seeking a creative and dedicated individual to join their salon as an apprentice. The apprentice will be expected to support staff with daily tasks whilst they gain knowledge, insight and experience in the Hairdressing Industry.
We are looking for dedicated candidates who are passionate to develop within hairdressing. They will be relaxed but confident to deal with clientele and believe in good customer service. They must be reliable and get involved in all aspects of running a salon. This will include tidying and sweeping hair.
Above all the salon is looking for an apprentice who is flexible and hard working. The right candidate will be professional and have a passion for the industry. They will also be keen to develop their skills and career with the salon and with GHQ Training.
Learning correct techniques for shampooing and head massage
Learning about retail products advising how to maintain salon hair at home
Grow personal knowledge techniques/latest trends/industry news etc.
Assisting the stylists
General housekeeping (salon stations/kitchen/reception)
Cream Hair and Beauty covers all aspects of hairdressing and Beauty. The salon has fantastic professional service, highly skilled hairdressers and beauty therapists with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
£3.90 per hour (National Minimum Wage for Apprentices)
Minimum of 30 hours per week but could be working up to 40 hours in a week.
Progression onto a Level 3 Hairdressing qualification.
Good practical skills
Good social skills
Passionate about the Hair Industry
GCSEs in Maths and English are preferred but not essential as Functional Skill in both at Level 1 can be taken.
