Lemonade Hair are looking for a creative individual to join their team as a Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice.
We are looking for dedicated candidates who are passionate to develop within hairdressing. They will be relaxed but confident to deal with clientele and believe in good customer service. They must be reliable and get involved in all aspects of running a salon. This will include tidying and sweeping hair.
Above all the salon is looking for an apprentice who is flexible and hard working. The right candidate will be professional and have a passion for the industry. They will also be keen to develop their skills and career with the salon.
Key responsibilities will include:
Greeting and dealing with clients.
Shampoo and condition clients hair
Sweep hair and tidy the salon
Reception work – answer phone calls and assist with bookings
Attending training sessions
Minimum 30 hours per week
Minimum £4.15 per hour
Lemonade Hair is based on Ebrington Street near Plymouth’s City Centre. The salon specialises in colour and extensions and uses all Milkshake products and colour.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Willing to learn
Passionate about hair
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) is desired but not essential as Functional Skills can be worked towards.
Possibility of continuing on to Level 3 Hairdressing qualification and/or long term career in the hairdressing industry.

Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship
Functional skills in Maths & English if required
