Overview
Waxing is an excellent addition to any treatment menu and provides repeat business as it is an essential maintenance option for many clients. The GTi Waxing Course meets the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the various types of hair removal, anatomy and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, contra-actions and contra-indications, reception, consultation, ventilation, technique, and aftercare.
This course teaches everything you need to know about carrying out a professional waxing service on different area of the body including the legs, bikini, underarms and facial waxing. The GTi waxing course includes the GTi professional standards course for students who have not previously completed this course.
All the theory modules and tests are required to be completed before attending the 2 practical training days and practical assessment at GHQ Training.

GTi Professional Standards, to complete the Beauty Guild professional standard.
Things to consider
Once you have booked your training course and paid the enrolment and theory fee of £25, you will be able complete the theory modules for the course right away. Once you have completed the theory modules, a practical session code will be displayed on the final module which you can pass on to your chosen training school. When you have successfully completed your practical training, your tutor will pass you and a GTi Certificate will be available for you to download or purchase on your portal.
Don’t forget, you can obtain Guild insurance upon completion of your course with a massive discount of £25 if you upgrade within 3 months of enrolling!
Within 3 weeks of completing your theory, you will attend the 2 practical training days at GHQ Training.
You will need to arrange your models for the practical; Day 1 – Female in afternoon, Day 2 – Female in morning, Male in Afternoon.
*If you fail the practical assessment, GHQ will offer you an extra hour of tutoring free of charge. You will be charged extra if you require more tutoring.

This is an accredited course by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. On completion of this course, you will presented with a GTi Certificate.

Certification & Insurance
This is an accredited course by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate which is acceptable for insurance purposes with The Guild of Beauty Therapists.
