Overview
This qualification is a specialist vocationally related qualification that will enable you to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding required to perform fashion and photographic make-up treatments.
You will be able to perform the skills learnt for clients via employment or self-employment in the beauty therapy industry
Make-up products will be provided in class but you will need to purchase products to enable you to complete work at home.
Requirements
Experience/ knowledge in Beauty is an advantage, however, previous qualifications in Beauty Therapy are not required for Level 2.
The uniform for make-up at GHQ is black and white only (no denim) and ‘closed-in’ comfortable shoes.
Learners will be supported to source models when required
Learners will need to complete homework
Products and resources will be provided for use in sessions
Learners will be supported with work experience and career opportunities
A suggested kit list will be provided for learners should they wish to purchase to enhance their skills and progression.

Cohort Dates & Length of Programme
The duration of this course is 9 months excluding holidays. You will be expected to attend college 1/2 days (Mondays & Wednesdays) per week and it will also include home study and practice which must be evidenced.
Funding
The course can be funded via an Advanced Learner Loan (subject to eligibility) you wont have to pay this back until you earn over £25,000.

Your credit rating will not be taken into account
