Overview

The Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide the relaxing and stress-relieving treatment of body massage.

Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, and client care and communication. You will also develop a knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification, such as anatomy and physiology.

The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in providing body massage treatments to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to provide your services to clients.

The legislation referred to within this qualification applies to UK learners. For learners outside of the UK, you should familiarise yourself with legislation that may apply to you.

Requirements

Experience/ knowledge in Beauty is an advantage, however, previous qualifications in Beauty Therapy are not required for Level 2.

Things to consider

Due to the nature of the course, you will need to be hardworking, motivated and prepared to complete at least 16 hours a week of home study which has to be evidenced.

Progression to Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

Cohort Dates & Length of Programme

The duration for this course 8 months over the course of 2 day’s per week (Monday’s & Wednesday’s) attending GHQ Training (excluding school holidays) + 16 hours per week of home study.

• The course can be funded via an Advanced Learner Loan (subject to eligibility) you wont have to pay this back until you earn over £25,000.

• Your credit rating will not be taken into account
