Attendance: Starting on 27/1/25 Flexible remote delivery fortnightly 2 hour sessions after face to face induction

Cost: Private Funding at £3,458.40 may be covered by an Advanced Learner Loan, also can be funded by plymouth city council if already working or volunteering in a School/Nursery or wrap around setting
Overview
This qualification aims to:
• focus on the study of the role of the playworker
• offer breadth and depth of study, incorporating a key core of knowledge
• provide opportunities to acquire many practical and technical skills
Requirements
Entry requirements are being over the age of 18, GCSE and Functional skills are not required.
A work placement is needed for the diploma.

12 months Beginning January 2025 (subject to Tutor availability start at any time)
This qualification is designed to provide in-depth information about the role of the level 3 playworker, and the knowledge required to work with children between the ages of 4 and 16 years.
This qualification reflects the National Occupational Standards (NOS) 2016 and prepares the learner for employment in a playwork setting at level 3.
Internally assessed and externally quality-assured portfolio of evidence.
