Overview

This Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges has been devised to increase learners’ awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects.

It covers a wide range of areas including behaviour that challenges, supporting positive behaviour, the importance of effective communication and management of behaviour that challenges and the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

This qualification is aimed at learners working in roles that support children and young people in Early Years settings, Primary, Secondary or Special Schools, as well as Colleges.
This is a knowledge-only course, no observation of practice is required.

6 months – 4 sessions plus assignment writing time. Dates are to be confirmed on an individual basis with the assessor.
