Laura Cloke at GHQ Training St Austell Academy

Laura Cloke's Inspiring Journey: From Finding Confidence to Building a Career

Laura Cloke's story is a testament to the transformative power of education and self-belief. When Laura joined GHQ Training's St Austell Academy, she was a 35-year-old mother with a longing to rediscover her identity and pursue a fulfilling career. Little did she know that her journey at GHQ Training would not only boost her confidence but also open doors to new opportunities.

In a short span of time, Laura experienced tremendous personal growth and development. With the unwavering support and understanding of her mentors, Katy and Lucy, Laura found herself stepping out of her comfort zone and embracing her true potential. She recalls, "My confidence is so high right now. I came in with no identity, but now I feel like I'm not just a mom. I'm myself and doing something for my own career!"

One of the significant milestones in Laura's journey was securing a part-time job at a local barbershop. This achievement not only validated her newfound confidence but also marked the beginning of her own career path. Laura expresses her gratitude, saying, "I want to say a massive thank you to Katy and Lucy for all their help and understanding. They are amazing and an asset to the academy. I didn't learn this much at school!"

Laura's story serves as an inspiration to all learners, reminding us that it is never too late to pursue our dreams and redefine our identities. GHQ Training is proud to have played a part in Laura's journey, and we are committed to empowering learners like her to discover their true potential and achieve their goals.

We congratulate Laura on her remarkable progress and wish her continued success as she continues to build her career in the beauty industry. Her story is a shining example of the transformative impact of education and the unwavering support provided by the GHQ Training community.

At GHQ Training, we believe in the power of education to change lives. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where learners can thrive and unlock their full potential. Laura's journey is just one of the many success stories that inspire us to continue our mission of empowering learners and transforming lives.

If you are ready to embark on your own journey of personal and professional growth, we invite you to join GHQ Training and discover the endless possibilities that await you. Together, we can help you find your confidence, redefine your identity, and build a successful career.

More to celebrate - Learner of the year awards

It’s that time of year when we invite our staff to nominate their learner of the year. Considering that course durations range from 16 weeks to 18 months, there are a lot of things to consider when making a choice as to who to nominate. We look at personal circumstances, attendance, and sheer determination alongside the hard work and skill required to gain vocationSt Austell al qualifications at levels 3, 4, and 5.

Each Centre will arrange their presentation ceremony where the nominees will be invited along with 2 guests. Each nominee will receive a certificate of recognition, and the winner will receive an Engraved trophy and a gift voucher.

We can’t wait to see our list of nominees, and look forward to the celebrations !

NB Learners of the year awards are for learners who have achieved qualifications in the past 12 months.
