The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is a first stage teaching qualification which has a teaching/training practice requirement. Successful completion of this qualification will give you the understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer. You will be able to use initial and diagnostic assessments and be confident in assessing learning whilst providing appropriate resources to support effective learning.

This is suitable for those who work or want to work as teachers in the further education, adult and community education, work-based learning and the voluntary sector, provided they are qualified or experienced at the appropriate level in the subject they intend to teach.

• Must have access to a minimum of 30 hours teaching
• Good levels of literacy are necessary to meet the required standard of assignment writing
• Good ICT required as considered necessary for trainers and teachers in modern education

The duration of this course is 12 months and is delivered in monthly sessions at GHQ Training Centre on Mondays, 9.30am – 5pm as well as one-to-one mentoring & individual study.
